"I was suffering from insomnia, aches in the body
and constant anxiety. My anxiety was so bad that I couldn’t sit watching a
film without ironing at the same time. My perception of life was more
grey than full of colour.

"At 73, I’ve been trying to control my weight for more than 30 years now. I’d
been able to lose the weight but always put it back on again. My weakness was
cravings for chocolate and ice cream, especially late at night. I also suffered
from fatigue. At times I felt so tired I could hardly move. Insomnia was a
problem too – on a typical night I would only sleep 4-5 hours and some nights
not at all.
